Established in June 2021, we are a family run accountancy practice located near Amble in Northumberland.
We are a fully digital practice meaning we can offer tax, accounting and related services to anyone in the UK.
Our mission, is to take the hassle out of accounting for individuals and small businesses, through the use of cloud and digital solutions.
Rather than spending precious time on paperwork, we believe that businesses and business owners are far happier and more successful, when they are able to concentrate on what they do best.

A key element of our solution is accounting software. This is why we have partnered with one of the UK’s leading accounting software providers, Xero.
Xero is a Cloud-based accounting system that opens up a world of opportunities to increase efficiency and streamline the way you manage your business.
Using Xero and any appropriate add on options, we will work with you to help simplify and automate your bookkeeping tasks. You can concentrate on growing your profits.

We are also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
This means that you can be confident that the services and advice we provide to you, is given in accordance with the ethics and standards of the main accountancy body in the UK.
Meet the Team
Matthew Spears ACA
Chartered Accountant
TidyCloud Accounting Ltd was established by Matthew Spears, a Chartered Accountant, with almost a decade of experience of working in an accounting practice.
Matthew has worked with a variety of small to medium businesses across a number of sectors. He is always looking at ways to make life easier for business owners.
Outside of work, Matthew is an amateur artist and an avid football fan.
Joanne Spears
Administrator
Joanne has worked for a number of years within customer service in the supermarket sector. This includes significant time at two of the big four supermarket chains.
Joanne joined the business on inception as an administrator to ensure that the necessary client paperwork is as painless as possible.
Outside of work, Joanne enjoys walking and a good thriller novel.
